Why Tasek Tech
An approach to AI that your team can actually maintain
The difference between AI that holds and AI that fades is, more often than not, a question of how the integration was handled — not which tool was chosen.

Six things that distinguish our work
These are not marketing points. They are the practical conditions under which every Tasek Tech engagement operates — from the first listening session to the final programme review.
Every engagement produces a written document
Even the Still Surface listening session concludes with a written letter — a considered summary of what we heard and what might be worth examining. No engagement ends without something your team can keep and refer back to.
Limitations are documented, not softened
The handover document for each workflow includes a clear description of the conditions under which the workflow should not be relied upon. Accurate information makes for better decisions, and better decisions produce more durable results.
No commitment beyond the engagement you choose
The Still Surface letter does not contain an embedded proposal. You decide what to do next, with no pressure and no follow-up sales calls unless you ask for them. Each engagement is priced and scoped as a complete piece of work.
Built alongside your team, not delivered to them
We assemble workflows with the people who will use them. When the engagement ends, operational knowledge stays within your organisation — held by your staff, not by an external vendor who may or may not be available when things need attention.
Governance and data handling as standard
We review vendor data handling terms, document them in the workflow specification, and address governance considerations as a matter of course — not as an optional extra billed separately once the main work is complete.
In-person, in Singapore
Our work is conducted face to face, in your offices, with practitioners who understand the Singapore commercial and regulatory context. We do not operate through remote-only delivery or offshore staffing models.
In Depth
What each advantage means in practice
Professional expertise
Tasek Tech's team brings combined experience across organisational design, enterprise software implementation, workflow documentation, and AI vendor evaluation. Our engagements are led by senior practitioners — not delegated to junior staff after an initial meeting.
- Senior-led from first session to final review
- Cross-functional knowledge: process, technology, governance
- Singapore context understood from direct experience
Process and technology
We evaluate AI tools on the basis of fit, not novelty. Our approach to workflow assembly is methodical — beginning with a written specification, proceeding through a build phase, and concluding with a trial period and honest handover. Every stage is documented.
- Tool selection based on fit, not current attention
- Written specification before any build begins
- Structured trial before organisational rollout
Client service quality
We aim to reply to every message within two working days. Progress notes are produced after each working session. If something is not working as expected during a trial period, we address it directly — not in a report submitted three months later.
- Two working day response target
- Written progress notes after each session
- Issues addressed directly, not deferred
Clear, contained pricing
Each engagement has a fixed price, stated clearly before you commit. There are no retainers, no variable billing, and no separately charged line items for governance, documentation, or training — these are part of the engagement, not additions to it.
- Fixed price per engagement — SGD 270, 525, or 945
- No retainer, no hidden extras
- Third-party tool costs disclosed before commitment
How We Compare
Tasek Tech versus the typical consulting model
These comparisons are made without naming specific competitors — the patterns they describe are common across much of the AI consulting market, not unique to any one firm.
| Feature | Typical Providers | Tasek Tech |
|---|---|---|
| Written documentation of every stage | Rarely standard | Always included |
| Workflow limitations stated in handover | Not typically | Standard practice |
| Engagement complete without further commitment | Often part of a pipeline | Each engagement is self-contained |
| Build conducted with client team | Often outsourced or remote | In person, alongside staff |
| Governance included at no extra charge | Often billed separately | Part of every build |
| Fixed, pre-agreed price | Variable or retainer | Fixed per engagement |
| Singapore-based, in-person delivery | Often remote or offshore | Always on-site in Singapore |
What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of our approach
The listening-first model
Our Still Surface engagement is one of the few AI consulting offerings in Singapore that begins by asking questions rather than presenting capabilities. The result is a written letter, not a sales proposal. We believe that is the right way to start.
Limitations documented by default
We are not aware of another AI consultancy in the market that includes a formal description of a workflow's limitations in its handover documentation as a standard deliverable. We do, and we believe it matters.
Quarterly written reviews in the Reservoir Programme
The Reservoir Programme includes a formal written review every quarter — assessing which AI capabilities should remain in operation, which should be adjusted, and which are no longer warranted. This is governance built in, not bolted on.
A closing report at the end of every programme
The Reservoir Programme concludes with a written report describing the current state of each workflow and offering measured recommendations for the year ahead. You leave with a record — not a verbal summary at a final meeting.
