AI adoption works best when it is unhurried and honestly documented

Tasek Tech is a Singapore-based consultancy built on the premise that good AI integration is, at its core, good organisational practice.

Who We Are

A practice built on listening first

Tasek Tech was established in Singapore with a straightforward observation: most organisations that struggle with AI adoption do not have a technology problem. They have a process problem — one that no particular tool resolves on its own.

Our founders spent years working alongside local businesses as they navigated decisions about software, automation, and organisational change. The pattern they saw repeated itself: teams would adopt a platform without a clear picture of what it was meant to do, and they would find themselves holding something they neither fully understood nor knew how to hand over to a successor.

Tasek takes a different approach. Before any build work begins, we listen. We ask a prepared set of questions about how work moves, where attention is spent, and where the friction tends to accumulate. We take notes. We write a letter. The organisation decides what to do next.

Where we do proceed to build, we work alongside the team — not as an external vendor delivering a finished product, but as a practical partner learning the operation from the inside. Every workflow is documented. Every limitation is described. When we leave, the knowledge stays.

Our Mission

To help Singapore businesses integrate AI into daily operations in a way that is sustainable, understood by staff, and supported by written documentation — without pressure, lock-in, or unnecessary complexity.

Our Values

  • Clarity over complexity — we explain before we build
  • Documentation over assumption — nothing left to memory
  • Honesty over optimism — limitations are described, not softened
  • Pace over speed — adoption that holds is worth the time it takes

Singapore-Rooted

Our work is conducted in person, in Singapore. We understand the commercial environment, the regulatory considerations, and the organisational cultures that shape how local businesses operate. That grounding matters when you are making decisions about AI.

The People

Who you will work with

A small, senior team. Every engagement is led by an experienced practitioner — not handed to a junior associate after the first meeting.

RL

Raymond Loh

Founding Partner

Raymond leads the Still Surface and Reservoir engagements. His background is in organisational design and enterprise software implementation across Singapore and the broader ASEAN region.

SN

Siti Norzahra

Lead Practitioner

Siti manages the Reflective Build engagements and leads on workflow specification and documentation. She has spent a decade working with teams on practical process change in financial services and professional services firms.

AK

Arjun Krishnan

Technical Advisor

Arjun advises on AI vendor selection, data handling standards, and the technical architecture of assembled workflows. He ensures that every recommendation we make can be explained clearly, in plain language, to any member of the client team.

How We Work

Standards we hold ourselves to

These are not aspirations. They are the operating conditions we apply to every engagement, regardless of scope or duration.

Written outputs at every stage

No engagement concludes without a written document the client can keep — a letter, a specification, a handover document, or a quarterly review. Nothing is left to verbal agreement or informal understanding.

Transparent scope before build

For every Reflective Build or Reservoir engagement, we agree the scope in writing before any build work begins. Changes to scope are discussed openly, not managed through scope creep or additional billing after the fact.

Data handling reviewed with the client

We review the data handling practices of any AI tool or vendor we recommend, and we document those practices in the workflow specification. We do not recommend tools whose data practices we cannot explain clearly.

Limitations stated, not hidden

Every workflow handover document includes a section describing the conditions under which the workflow should not be relied upon. We believe clients are better served by an accurate picture than an optimistic one.

Knowledge transferred, not retained

We build alongside your team and transfer operational knowledge throughout. When a Reservoir Programme concludes, the people who will maintain each workflow are the people who helped build it.

No embedded sales

The Still Surface engagement does not include an embedded proposal for further work. If we believe further engagement would serve you well, we will say so plainly in the follow-up letter — and you decide what to do next.

AI integration work in Singapore — what it actually involves

For many Singapore businesses, the practical question about AI is not whether to use it but how to begin — and how to avoid wasting time and budget on something that does not hold up under ordinary working conditions. The technology landscape changes quickly. Individual AI tools come and go. What persists is the need for clear processes, staff who understand what they are working with, and written documentation that lets an organisation continue after a key person moves on.

Tasek Tech's work is centred on those durable concerns. We start from the position that AI tools are useful in proportion to how well they fit the actual shape of a team's work — and that fitting them well requires the kind of detailed, patient observation that a listening session is designed to enable. From that foundation, where a build is warranted, we scope it precisely and build it with the team, not for them.

Singapore's business environment — with its mix of local SMEs, regional offices of international firms, and public sector organisations — presents a range of AI integration contexts. We work across those contexts, and our approach is calibrated to the size and structure of each client organisation rather than applied uniformly.

If you are weighing the right pace and scope of AI adoption for your business, a conversation with us is likely to be useful — and the Still Surface engagement gives you a way to begin that conversation for a defined cost and a clear outcome.
